Business Scholarship with a Swedish-Austrian Twist
I’m Per Bylund, Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Johnny D. Pope Chair in the School of Entrepreneurship in the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University.
My Experience
I’m currently enjoying a second professional career, as a professor of entrepreneurship, following previous experiences as systems developer, business consultant, elected politician, and entrepreneur.
My Research
My research aims to explain the market process of prosperity-creation and economic development with a focus on organizations, institutions, entrepreneurship and management.
My Books
What is the role of the entrepreneurial firm in the dynamic market process? Can entrepreneurial thinking explain the market process from the bottom up?
My books seek to answer these and other fundamental questions about markets through the lens of Austrian economics.
